Tasmania is a big island at the southern coast of Australia with an area of about 68 sq km. The most visited place is Salamanca with its cafes, shops and old cottages, where local markets open on Saturdays. The first legal casino in Australia is also located near by. Launceston is the biggest town of northern Tasmania, famous for its beautifully preserved colonial architecture. Its main attraction is Cataract Gorge with the outlook of the city on top.
