Broom and Kimberley
Broom is a small resort town located in the north-west of Australia on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world – the famous Cable Beach. It was founded as the centre of the pearl industry in the end of the 19th century, and still remains the "pearl capital" of the country. Broom is also the centre of the Kimberley region famous for its untouched natural environment and the deposits of the pink diamonds – the only one in the world.
